Finasteride | Hair Loss

Where can I order Finasteride online?

I need a site that has prices for Finasteride in the €uro currency, that would deliver it to Southern Ireland and would accept payment by other means than credit card. Thank you very much in advance for your help.

Answer 1:

Top o' the Mornin' t' ya. Is it yersilf?

I thought you were looking for that famous fairground attraction in Britany and wondered how An Post could get it into one of their little, green vans.

To the best of my knowledge, Finasteride was originally developed to treat prostate cancer and is only available on prescription. If there's a topical form, you should be able to buy it in a large pharmacy.

If one assumes that American retailers will ship stuff to the Emerald Isle, you may be able to order tablets on line from the US but there's always a risk that they will be intercepted.

The only kosher source is going to be one of those hair-loss clinics. Many of them have web sites.

http://www.4rx.net
Comes in original blister packaging, $70 for around 90 pills i believe.

Does husband taking Finasteride decrease chance of becoming pregnant?

We have 2 kids and would like 1 more. My husband was taking Finasteride for about 3 years and we tried to get pregnant but couldn't. He stopped taking this med because it is expensive and 2 months later I was pregnant. Our baby is 1 yr old and we have been trying for 3 mos to get pregnant with no luck. He told me he started taking the Finasteride again about 5 mos ago. Is this med known to interfere with conception?

Answer 1:

Basically, finasteride interferes with testosterone metabolism and anything which interferes with testosterone metabolism can impact on male fertility.
So: YES. .....and there is science to back it up. Here is an article.http://www.scielo.br/pdf/rhc/v59n4/21389…

I think the fact that yougot pregnant with your youngest child after your husband came off the finasteride speaks for itself..

Hope this clarifies things.
Best wishes.

Answer 2:

Not if you get a boyfriend!

Answer 3:

Whoey WHAT?

Answer 4:

i have never heard of it...whats it for?................anyway...you may want him to have a semen test done from your dr to see if it is affecting his sperm.....i wish you the best of luck ttc

Answer 5:

Yes it will cause a decrease and it you do get pregnant then you run a real big risk of a birth defect. Check with you DR before you get pregnant how long he has to be off it before there is not risk to the baby.

How can i get on finasteride or minoxidil at age 17 for hair loss?

I just turned 17 ten days ago and i noticed my hair line is thinning. My hair is thinning in the two corners of my hair line. My father went bald really early. I looked at his hair and I don't believe we have Alopecia or anything like that. like, his hair line recedes and makes that "M" shape.

What can I do to stop it and have my hairline again?

Answer 1:

Your hair could be thinning for many different reasons so do nothing until you see a dermatologist (a skin doctor) so he/she can determine the cause. An office visit with a dermatologist will probably cost around $75 if your family doesn't have insurance. The dermatologist will give you treatment options depending on the cause of your hair loss.

Be very skeptical of home remedies, herbal supplements, and alternative holistic medical treatments because they are usually silly, foolish, and have NOT been proven to work in human clinical studies. There's a lot of information out there regarding hair loss but most is based on junk or pseudo-science.You can find credible information about effective hair loss treatments on PubMed by going to the links below. If it's not listed on PubMed then don't trust it.

See a dermatologist!

Answer 2:

maybe it is just a normal situation because you are going through puberty period!?

anyway anyway as we know - hair loss can be caused by many different reasons! Find out the actual cause of hair loss! There are many causes of loss of hair such as stress, poor nutrition ,medications, thyroid dysfunctions, illness, fungal infections ,hormonal problems, to mention a few.

year ago my husband suffered from hair loss too and he started trying everything you can imagine to stop his hair loss. the things that really worked for him was:

1) Vitamin A - an anti-oxidant which promotes healthy production of sebum in the scalp;

2) Vitamin E stimulates circulation. Good blood circulation in the scalp is important in keeping hair follicles productive. The 'B' vitamins contribute to melanin, which gives hair its healthy color and also stimulates blood circulation;

3) massage is also beneficial. Massage stimulates circulation. As already noted, good circulation in the scalp keeps hair follicles active. Experts suggest a few minutes of daily head massage by hand. Circulation through massage may be improved by using a few drops of lavender or bay essential oil in an almond or sesame oil base with massage;

4) Try rubbing your scalp with garlic juice, Onion Juice or Ginger Juice(you can either of one out of three, Do not mix any of two or three);

5) also he used herbal treatment - TrichoZed
It is a good product that helps prevent hair loss and it is an FDA approved product. I think it is very important!

It worked and still works for him!

I do not know if any pharmacies carry TrichoZed but I do know that you should purchase it directly from the manufacturer and read more about the product here http://www.trichozed.info/why.php

It enhances hair growth by blocking DHT (Dihydrotestostrone) - a major cause of hair loss!

good luck!

not only my and my husband`s own personal experience

Answer 3:

You need to see a doctor. It would help if you know what is causing your hair loss as you will be able to choose the best treatment for your condition. There are cases that hormonal imbalances cause hair loss and the most trusted person to recommend a therapy for this is your doctor. Talk to your healthcare provider and be sure to ask everything you want to know.

Answer 4:

At walgreens they have stuff in the shampoo aisle, for men and women. I dont think you have to be over 18 to buy it.

Answer 2:

Yes, it will work against frontal hair loss, but does not have that as an indication of the medicine, as the tests were only done on the vertex. Hence, they cannot claim improvement in areas that were not tested and presented to the FDA. Other than the effects on the prostate gland, you should not have to worry about side effects. A cousin of the drug, Avodart, actually works better at regrowing the hair. However,if you don't want to take an oral drug, then the use of minoxidil might help you out.

How do you get Finasteride prescribed to me?

I'm starting to lose a little hair but I hear this stuff is great and I'd like to prevent it from happening more. What steps should I take to get this and what type of doctor should I see?

Answer 1:

Personally, the risk is too high. Just let the hair go, it probably will anyway. I would rather be bald than impotent, or have man boobs. How bout you?
